As the Dow continues to plunge, everybody is losing money. But the few brave souls with either money to spend, or just wanting to roll the dice, are looking for something to gamble on.
People are losing more and more faith in American currency, as it gets dominated in the world economy. And also paper money is dropping. Oil was the big one definate, but Oil also is dropping, earlier today it was down 100 points for this day only. But don't get optimistic, that won't lower gas prices until the feds crank down on American Oil companies.
So the question is, "what is there to buy?" Well, as stocks and oil have dropped. Gold has shot up.
Gold had been rising earlier this spring, but then it dropped again to around 800$. But today it is up over 900$, and strategies are predicting it to rise to over 1000$ an ounce.
Nobody trusts the government, and you'd have to be stupid to trust the oil barons, Gold is the only thing that keeps it's value no matter what.

Will Smith Barney be the next Company to Fall?
Smith Barney, is a division and service mark of Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and its affiliates. With the recent economic woes, Smith Barney has been facing alot of heat in the recent days. As Citi Group stock has plunged, Smith Barney has been raked over the coals.
Like AIG and Lehman Brothers it is another company that provides brokerage, and investment banking, however these areas are tanking in the market today. You all know what happened to Lehman Brothers, how they went out of business, and how AIG was only saved from Bankruptcy, because the Feds give a 85 Billion dollar loan, will Smith and Barney fall next?
As well as losing money in stocks, Smith and Barney is now suffering a series of lawsuits, started by The Law Offices of Aronberg & Aronberg. Who claim that Smith and Barney improperly recommended Fannie Mae to stock holders, which also is near bankruptcy as well. The stockholders of Smith and Barney were hit with a double blow with this crisis.
Smith Barney customers were also misinformed that, in the unlikely even Fannie or Freddie
went under government would step in and protect their investment, which didn't happen.
With the troubles piling up, and the stock markets continuing to plunge, one can only wonder, who is next that will file for bankruptcy, and further destroy the American financial situation.

New Facebook=Disaster
Ok, honestly, who does like the new facebook?
And if you do, you better not tell anyone because you'll get beaten up. The new facebook is one of the worst disasters in web history. It's a good thing that everybody in the world already uses it, because otherwise Facebook might be in trouble. But the complaints are growing every second. Within days of it coming out, groups begin flying up, 1,000,000 against the new facebook.

They are quickly becoming some of the largest groups on facebook, to complain about facebook, how ironic.
Facebook had better start listening to people, and either create a new layout again, or bring the old one back. Because these groups have only been in existence for days, in a few weeks or months, the complaints will only get worse. We'll have to see if people start leaving facebook because of it.

Sarah Palin Email Hacked
Gov. Sarah Palin, the vice presidential canadite for John Mccain, had her email hacked only days ago. Her email gov.palin@yahoo.com, was breached by self proclaimed members of Anonymous, although the site denys it as you can see from the link. The scandalous information was posted to Wikileaks.org, which denys that it had any wrong doing, and demands it's rights to post it.
Though no secrets, or things disastrous to her campian were revealed, there were several pictures posted, and phone numbers. It included personal information for both Sarah Palin, the husband, her daughter, and her son, including cell-phones numbers. Supposedly, the number to her daughter was tried by the website before posting, to test it's truth. It is considered even a bigger problem, because now the children's safety are at risk.
The Authenticity of the hacking, were verified by Alaskan Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell and Amy McCorkell, (who is on the Governor's Advisory Board on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse in Alaska,) They both verified that emails they had sent personally to Gov. Palin, were found on the internet.
Nothing legally has been done as yet, but if you watched the O'Reilly show last night, the people are demanding action.
O'Reilly promised that he would have the Lieutenant Governor on his show, as well as the FBI, and demand that they take legal action, both against the criminals and the website. He wants to see the owners of the website arrested for knowingly posting illegally gotten information. We will have to see in the coming days, what sort of action will be taken against them.
